What does YDP Do?

YDP creates art, tees, design, photography, and motion graphics for a variety of clients and self-initiated projects. We are based out of Tampa.

What is YDP?

Yellow Dog Party is the studio of Joe Clay. The name comes from something one of my best friends uttered in his sleep while I was staying over at his house one night during college. He said that he had "to make a parade out of a yellow dog party." When I was trying to think of a new company name, it popped back into my head. Think of the Party portion of YDP as a gathering of like-minded people. Since one of my goals is to one day be able to work with my friends, it fits.

There's a lot of people out there doing great and innovative things. To them, the old postmodern adage of everything being unoriginal doesn't seem to ring true. I see that, and it inspires me. And if they can do it and be successful, why can't I? If I can make a decent living, enjoy what I'm doing, and have fun making some bad ass work with friends what else do I need?
